Job Description:  We are seeking an enthusiastic entry level Web Engineering Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our users, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues to ensure our e-commerce platform runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with a background in computer programming and technology who are excited to learn and take on new challenges. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Burpee e-Commerce platform (Adobe Commerce/Magento). 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for handling issues reported by key stakeholders. 

  • Create and manage tickets in the Burpee project management and issue tracking system (Jira). 

  • Troubleshoot issues with the Burpee e-Commerce platform and integrations. 

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new features and updates to ensure they meet project requirements. 

  • Document and communicate test results, user feedback and technical issues to relevant stakeholders. 

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of support documentation, user guides and FAQs. 

  • Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies, industry trends and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge


Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

  • Basic understanding of programming languages and software development processes. (PHP, SQL, JavaScript a plus) 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. 

  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and take on diverse tasks. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus but not required. 

  • Basic understanding of how to use APIs such as REST and GraphQL a plus. 

  • Basic understanding of how to manage Magento websites a plus. 

  • Must be able to report to our corporate office in Warminster PA Monday-Friday
