Are you passionate about marketing and looking for a seasonal opportunity to gain hands-on experience? We’re seeking a Seasonal/Temporary Marketing Assistant to support our digital marketing initiatives for a defined period. Responsibilities include assisting in email campaign creation and deployment, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing strategies. Ideal candidates are organized and detail-oriented with entry-level experience in digital marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Utilizing Listrak for building, testing, and scheduling daily marketing emails
  • Checking inventory for all items featured in emails prior to deployment
  • Scheduling and facilitating internal content review meetings (project to the screen and take notes throughout)
  • Creating project cards for planned marketing emails using our project management tool (Trello) and copy provided by our copywriter.
  • Creating slides for presentations relating to planned email content and email data review
  • Staying abreast of scheduled promotions and keeping the team in the loop via internal email
  • QA all emails, ensuring links, images, subject lines, and segments are accurate
  • Tracking competitor email topics and promotions
  • Catalog - Create file with products by page and create sales by page books (4 copies)
  • Digital Catalog – product linking
  • Using Magento for promotional discounts – setting up & activating promotion rules, testing functionality, and updating our promo banner correspondingly
  • Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience scheduling emails with an ESP (Email Service Provider).
  • Proficient using Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to coordinate with all departments to ensure completion of associated marketing tasks.
  • Experience with Trello or other project management tools is preferred but not required.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Open to discuss alternate schedules for advanced marketing college students or schedule conflicts. 100% on-site.
